The purpose of this lab was to review ions and introduce possible water contaminants to students
by having them
test a sample of water that they brought in from
home. Calcium, Iron, Chloride,
and Sulfate ions were tested
for. A negative test doesn't necessarily mean the ions are not present in
the water, they may just be in very small amounts. The results for each area of the district were:
