The purpose of this lab was to allow students to explore what determines the
period of the pendulum and for them to try and come up with the equation
themselves. They were given string, scissors, and masses of different
weights. It should have been found the length of string affects period
while mass does not. The equation is T = 2*pi*sq rt(L/g).
