This lab gave students additional practice with titrations. 2 solutions of
NaOH of unknown concentration were titrated with 0.1 M HCl. Four trials
for each unknown were performed and the volume of base used to neutralize the
solution was recorded. The equation M1V1=M2V2 was used to calculate the
concentration of the unknown NaOH for each trial and the average was taken for
the experimental result. Percent error was then calculated.
