Antacid Lab

This lab was an easy to do with acids and bases.  Students added vinegar to 2 100 ml water solutions- 1 was plain water, and 1 with an antacid crushed up and added.  In both cases, one drop indicator solution was added and vinegar was then added drop by drop until the solution turned red, or acidic.  It took many more drops to change the antacid solution because some of the acid was being neutralized.
