The purpose of this project was to have students research one additive from the
What's In Your Food? Lab. They gave an oral report and wrote a paragraph
including the name of the additive, chemical formula and structure, why it is
put in the food, and any side effects about it. Many food additives can
cause cancer or other health problems in large amounts.
